FS (First Aid) Training Ltd Celebrates 25 Years of Training Excellence

September 2024 marks a momentous milestone for FS (First Aid) Training Ltd. – our 25th anniversary!

First Aid Training Since 1999

Since our inception in 1999, we have been dedicated to providing essential first aid training to businesses, organizations, and individuals in Kettering and the surrounding areas. We are proud to have empowered thousands of people with the knowledge and skills needed to save lives.

Our journey began before 1999 when I first started teaching first aid at Tresham College. I also had the privilege of working at the Kettering Centre for the Unemployed, where I quickly realized my passion for teaching these life-saving skills.

This passion led me to transition from my role as a full-time paramedic with the Ambulance Service to founding FS Training Ltd. It was a significant leap, but one that allowed me to dedicate myself fully to the mission of equipping others with the skills to respond effectively in emergencies.

In the early days, we were approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), which was a testament to the quality of our training. As first aid training regulations evolved, we moved on to work with Qualsafe Awards, ensuring that our courses remained accredited and in line with the latest industry standards.

We started by offering open courses at Danesholme Community Centre in Corby and eventually expanded to the Business Exchange in Kettering, where we continue to deliver high-quality training to this day.

Our courses are designed to meet a wide range of needs, from workplace safety to specialized first aid for specific environments like schools and forests.
